SEASON PASSES ON SALE AND BETTER THAN EVER!

The countdown continues with approximately 66 days until the start of the 13-14 ski and ride season. This time last year we were working 24/7 to complete one of the biggest snowmaking projects in the country.  This year, everything is ready to go.  The tank is full, the pumps are ready, all we need is cold temps to turn this place white!

 

Season Passes are on sale now with a big increases in benefits. New this year - passholders can hit the snow any night. Yes, the season pass is valid every night the resort is open for skiing and riding. For more information about the pass and the new benefits, CLICK HERE

Ski Season Update: We are busy finishing up snowmaking projects that include:

• Pipe replacement and increased capacity on Eagles Swoop. The upper section of Eagles is a critical spot for us and with limited capacity, we are forced to run these guns a ton. Increased capacity on the upper section along with new gun locations on skiers left will provide better coverage in less time.

• The biggest and baddest snowmaking fan gun arrived yesterday. Techno Alpin - TF10. This gun is the biggest one you can buy, with huge snowmaking capacity and the ability to throw snow farther than ordinary guns. These guns like wide open spaces where huge snow production is ok.  We have just the spot!

80 days until ski season....

With only 80 days left until the start of the 2013-2014 season, we are busy updating web pages, proofing brochures and thinking about SNOW. Be on the lookout for information about new season passs benefits, Summer projects and great Winter Events in the works. With Summer behind us, we have turned our full attention to Winter!

RECORD BREAKING DAY!

When you combine SNOWPOWER with great March weather, you end up with tons of snow and a lot more opportunities to slide!  Conditions are unbelievable with 75% of the ski area open and plenty of base.  April 6th is the latest Wintergreen has ever operated, come visit and take part in this historic event!

Ski and Ride:  We are open today, skiing and riding from 9a-5p.  Head to Wintergreen for: lots of sunshine, great terrain park features, 18 trails and tons of snow!

SKIING AND RIDING SATURDAY 4/6

We will remain closed during the week, re-opening Saturday 4/6 for more skiing and riding.  For those of you that came out on 4/30, thanks for spending the day with us.  We have more snow than ever before this late in the season.  100% open the last day of March is crazy!  Thanks SNOWPOWER, talented Groomers, Snowmakers and Mother Nature for keeping March COOL!

Terrain Park:  Progression Park-  two 10ft flat boxes, 10ft flat rail, small battleship rail, two small jumps and a small quarter pipe. Main Park -  propane tank hip, propane tank flat, 16ft down box, handrail set up, up box to snow box, wall ride, 15ft flat rail, 30ft down rail, 2 medium jumps.  Dobie Park - hitching post, flat down rail, 20ft flat box, propane tank up to snow box, medium table and large table.

Nastar:  Closed for the season.

SO MUCH SNOW!

Snow, snow everywhere.  It is really hard to believe we have this much snow this late in the season.  All of this snow combined with 3-6 inches of new snow overnight, you can see why we plan to ski and ride on April 6th.
