COLD DAY - MORE SLOPES OPENING TOMORROW AND SUNDAY
Cold morning on the mountain with wind chill values well below zero. Please plan for these conditions, dress warm and take regular breaks inside.
Operating Hours:
Skiing and Riding on 15 trails with 4 lifts operating. Open 9a - 10p
Terrain Park:
Fun box
Box line - (2) 16ft boxes and an A-frame box
Rail line - Urban style down rail, 8 inch pipe set up flat and a small jump.
Tubing:
The Plunge is open with sessions from 9a - 10p.
Ridgely's Fun Park is closed today, re-opening Saturday and Sunday from 11a-4p
Snowmaking Goals:
We are focused on opening additional trails Saturday and Sunday. Exactly what we will have and when is tough to predict. Why? WIND. We are making a ton of snow and will make an enormous amount over the next 36 hours. IF the wind is not right, the snow produced ends up everywhere but on the slope in front of the gun.... IF a trail will not "hit" we will shift our focus to trails that will "hit".
Saturday opening prediction:
Lower Cliffhanger, Lower Diamond and the Terrain Park
Sunday opening prediction:
Devils Elbow and The Gap
